Ham and Cheese Sliders

Ingredients
- 12 sweet buns (Hawaiian rolls)
- 1/2 pound ham, sliced
- 6 slices Swiss cheese
- 6 slices provolone cheese
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1-2 tablespoons honey
- 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
- 1 1/2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1-2 tablespoons minced onion
- salt, to taste (optional)
- 1/4 teaspoon hot sauce (optional)
- 2-3 teaspoons everything bagel seasoning or poppy/sesame seeds
Steps
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with cooking spray, or line with parchment or foil.
- Slice all 12 buns in half horizontally.
- Place the bottom halves in the baking dish. Layer with ham, then Swiss and provolone cheese. Top with the other half of the buns.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together melted butter, honey, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, minced onion, salt, and hot sauce.
- Brush the butter mixture over the tops of the sliders. Sprinkle with everything bagel seasoning or poppy/sesame seeds.
- Cover the dish with foil.
- Bake for about 20 minutes, until the ham is warmed through and cheese is melted.
- Remove the foil and bake an additional 5 minutes to lightly brown the tops (optional).
- Remove from oven and serve immediately.
