No-Bake Sour Cherry Sport Slice

Ingredients
- 1/4 cup Dutch cocoa powder
- 1 tsp rum flavoring
- 1 cup pitted sour cherries
- 1/2 cup milk, warmed
- 3 cups crushed tea biscuits
- 120 g butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 bar dark chocolate
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
Steps
- In a bowl, combine the cocoa powder, rum flavoring, pitted sour cherries, and warm milk.
- Melt the butter, stir in the sugar, then microwave for 30 seconds to dissolve the sugar.
- Pour the butter-sugar mixture into the cocoa and cherry mixture and mix well, being careful not to crush the cherries.
- Once smooth, stir in the crushed biscuits until a thick, dense mixture forms.
- Transfer the mixture into a glass or ceramic dish, smoothing the top evenly. Chill in the refrigerator for 15 minutes.
- Meanwhile, break the chocolate into small pieces, add the vegetable oil, and microwave on medium for about 1 minute, or until melted and smooth.
- Pour the melted chocolate over the chilled base and spread evenly.
- Refrigerate for 1-2 hours, or until the chocolate is fully set.
- Cut into squares and serve.
