Tiramisu Brownie

Ingredients

  • 1 packet chocolate chunk brownie mix
  • 125g unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 eggs
  • cocoa, for dusting
  • hot espresso
  • sugar
  • mascarpone
  • cream

Steps

  1. Preheat oven to 160°C (325°F). Grease a 20cm square tin and line with non-stick baking paper.
  2. Combine brownie mix, melted butter, and eggs according to packet instructions. Stir in chocolate chunks.
  3. Spoon batter into prepared tin and bake for 45 minutes, or until set. Cool in the tin.
  4. Combine hot espresso and sugar, stirring until sugar dissolves. Let cool completely.
  5. In a bowl, whisk mascarpone, cream, and cooled espresso mixture until soft peaks form.
  6. Place cooled brownie on a serving plate, top with espresso cream, and dust with cocoa.
  7. Slice and serve.
