The Best Egg Salad

Ingredients

  • 8 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, minced
  • 2 tablespoons chives, minced
  • 2 tablespoons dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Steps

  1. Place eggs in a saucepan and cover with cold water. Bring to a boil, then remove from heat, cover, and let stand 10-12 minutes.
  2. Prepare an ice bath. Transfer eggs to the ice bath and let cool completely.
  3. Peel and chop the eggs, then place in a medium bowl.
  4. Add mayonnaise, dill, chives, dijon mustard, salt, and pepper. Mix until combined.
