Fresh Mint Tea

Ingredients
- 1 cup fresh mint leaves, loosely packed
- 3 cups boiling water
Steps
- Muddle the mint leaves with a mortar and pestle, or rub between your palms, until broken down to about half their size.
- Transfer the mint to a heat-proof jar and pour boiling water over it.
- Cover and let steep for 5 minutes.
- Strain and serve hot, or pour over ice for iced tea.
Notes
Keeps strained in the refrigerator for up to a week, or freeze in ice cube trays for longer storage.
