Homemade Taco Seasoning

Ingredients
- 3 Tbsp chili powder
- 1 1/2 Tbsp nutritional yeast
- 1 1/2 Tbsp coconut sugar
- 2-3 tsp sea salt
- 2 1/4 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 1/2 tsp chipotle powder
- 1 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1 1/2 tsp ground cumin
Steps
- Add all ingredients to a jar or mixing bowl.
- Stir or shake well to combine, breaking down clumps of nutritional yeast so it disperses evenly.
- Taste and adjust seasoning as needed: more chipotle powder for heat, coconut sugar for sweetness, smoked paprika for smokiness, or salt to taste.
- Use to season taco meat, beans, or vegetables, or sprinkle over roasted potatoes.
- Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 6 months, or refrigerate/freeze for up to 1 year.
Notes
Adjust salt if using a salted chili powder blend.
