Gluten-Free 1:1 Flour Blend

Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cups brown rice flour
  • 2/3 cup potato starch (not potato flour)
  • 1/4 cup cassava flour
  • 1/4 cup tapioca flour
  • 1/4 cup white rice flour
  • 1 tsp xanthan gum

Steps

  1. Add all ingredients to a large mixing bowl and whisk to combine.
  2. Transfer to a sealable container, such as a glass jar with a tight lid.
  3. Store in a cool, dry place for up to 3-6 months, or refrigerate/freeze for up to 1 year.
  4. Use as a 1:1 replacement for all-purpose flour in recipes like cookies, quick breads, pie crust, cakes, brownies, muffins, flatbread, and crackers.

Notes

Effective substitute for wheat flour in most baked goods at a 1:1 ratio.
