Green Goddess Dressing

Ingredients

  • 1 bunch parsley, dill, and/or cilantro (about 2 oz), coarsely chopped, stems included
  • 1 bunch chives (about 1 oz), coarsely chopped
  • 2 oil-packed anchovy fillets (optional)
  • 2 garlic cloves, smashed
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp chopped tarragon
  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp sour cream or plain whole-milk Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 tsp kosher salt, plus more to taste
  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Steps

  1. Combine parsley, dill, and/or cilantro, chives, anchovy fillets (if using), garlic, mayonnaise, tarragon, lemon juice, sour cream or yogurt, and salt in a blender.
  2. Blend until very smooth.
  3. Season with more salt and freshly ground pepper to taste.

Notes

Dressing can be made up to 2 days ahead; store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
