Classic Mignonette Sauce

Ingredients
- ¼ cup red wine vinegar
- 1 Tbsp finely chopped shallot
- ¼ tsp freshly ground black pepper
- 12 large oysters, freshly shucked
Steps
- Stir together red wine vinegar, shallot, and black pepper in a small bowl.
- Arrange shucked oysters on a platter and spoon mignonette over them.
Notes
Mignonette can be made 1 month ahead; cover and chill.
