Virgin Mojito (Non-Alcoholic Cocktail)

Ingredients

  • 400 ml ginger ale
  • 2 limes
  • 4 sprigs mint
  • 4 tsp brown sugar
  • 16 ice cubes

Steps

  1. Wash and dry the limes. Cut one lime into eighths.
  2. Add 2 tsp brown sugar to each glass.
  3. Divide the lime pieces between the two glasses and muddle them with a pestle.
  4. Put the ice cubes in a sealed plastic bag and crush them with a rolling pin or meat mallet into crushed ice.
  5. Divide the crushed ice evenly between the two glasses.
  6. Slowly pour 200 ml of ginger ale into each glass to preserve carbonation.
  7. Wash and dry the mint. Pluck the leaves from 2 sprigs and divide them between the glasses, pressing briefly into the ice with the pestle. Place the remaining 2 mint sprigs in the glasses for decoration.
  8. Cut 2 slices from the second lime, slit each to the center, and place on the rims of the glasses.
  9. Serve and enjoy.
