Hummus

Ingredients

  • 1 jar chickpeas
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 1 pinch paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Steps

  1. Peel the garlic clove, cut it in half, and blend until finely chopped.
  2. Add the drained chickpeas (reserve the liquid) and lemon juice. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Blend until smooth, adding a little reserved chickpea liquid if a softer texture is desired.
  4. Transfer the hummus to a bowl, chill, and sprinkle with paprika before serving.
