Crispy Plantain Chips

Ingredients
- 2 green plantains
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp black pepper (optional)
- 1/8 tsp paprika (optional)
- Oil (for frying, or cooking spray for air frying/baking)
Steps
- Peel the green plantains and slice thinly into rounds.
- Season the slices with salt, black pepper, and paprika if using.
- To fry: heat oil in a pan over medium heat and fry the plantain slices until golden and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side. Drain on paper towels.
- To air fry: preheat air fryer to 350°F (175°C), lightly spray the plantain slices with cooking oil, and air fry for 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until crispy.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
Can be made by frying, air frying, or baking depending on preference.
