Balsamic Chicken

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken thighs
  • 3 garlic cloves, chopped (about 1 tbsp)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt, or to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 tablespoon fresh thyme (about 6-8 sprigs)
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar

Steps

  1. In a large bowl or heavy-duty zip-top bag, mix together the garlic, salt, pepper, thyme, soy sauce, honey, olive oil, and balsamic vinegar to make the marinade.
  2. Add the chicken thighs and toss to coat well.
  3. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best flavor.
  4. Cook the chicken on an indoor grilling pan or an outdoor grill over medium-high heat until fully cooked through and lightly charred.
