Jamaican Fried Dumplings

Ingredients
- 358 g plain flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ¾ tsp salt
- 170 ml water
- 473 ml oil, for frying
Steps
- Combine flour, salt, and baking powder in a mixing bowl.
- Gradually add water and knead into a soft dough.
- Divide the dough into 7-8 equal pieces and roll each into a round ball.
- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
- Add the dough balls to the hot oil, then reduce heat to medium-low and fry on all sides.
- Fry until dumplings are golden brown on all sides and cooked through inside.
