Classic Tuna Salad

Ingredients
- 2 (12 oz) cans chunk light tuna in water, drained
- 1 cup celery, diced (about 2 ribs)
- 1/4 cup walnuts, chopped
- 2 green onions, sliced
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 Tbsp lemon juice
- 1/4 tsp black pepper, freshly cracked
- 1/4 tsp salt
Steps
- Drain the tuna well. Dice the celery, chop the walnuts, and slice the green onions.
- Combine tuna, celery, walnuts, green onions, mayonnaise, lemon juice, pepper, and salt in a bowl. Stir well.
- Serve as a sandwich, over greens as a salad, or with crackers and vegetables for dipping.
- Refrigerate leftovers and use within four days.
