Ingredients

  • 1-1½ lbs sirloin roast, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • salt, to taste
  • ½-1 teaspoon ground black pepper, to taste
  • 2-3 teaspoons Creole seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon cooking oil
  • 2-3 tablespoons butter
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • ½ tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • ½ cup onions, sliced or minced (optional)

Steps

  1. Season the steak cubes with salt, black pepper, and Creole seasoning.
  2. Heat oil in a large cast-iron skillet over high heat.
  3. Place steak tips in a single layer in the pan and sear 2-3 minutes until golden brown, then flip and cook 1-2 minutes on the other side. Work in batches if needed to avoid overcrowding.
  4. Remove steak tips from the pan and set aside.
  5. Melt butter in the same pan and sauté garlic for about 30 seconds.
  6. Add Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, and onions; cook 2-3 minutes, stirring to coat.
  7. Return steak tips to the pan to coat in the sauce.
  8. Sprinkle with parsley and serve over mashed potatoes, rice, or steamed vegetables.
