Steak Tips

Ingredients
- 1-1½ lbs sirloin roast, cut into 1-inch cubes
- salt, to taste
- ½-1 teaspoon ground black pepper, to taste
- 2-3 teaspoons Creole seasoning
- 1 tablespoon cooking oil
- 2-3 tablespoons butter
- 2 teaspoons minced garlic
- ½ tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- ½ cup onions, sliced or minced (optional)
Steps
- Season the steak cubes with salt, black pepper, and Creole seasoning.
- Heat oil in a large cast-iron skillet over high heat.
- Place steak tips in a single layer in the pan and sear 2-3 minutes until golden brown, then flip and cook 1-2 minutes on the other side. Work in batches if needed to avoid overcrowding.
- Remove steak tips from the pan and set aside.
- Melt butter in the same pan and sauté garlic for about 30 seconds.
- Add Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, and onions; cook 2-3 minutes, stirring to coat.
- Return steak tips to the pan to coat in the sauce.
- Sprinkle with parsley and serve over mashed potatoes, rice, or steamed vegetables.
