Crockpot Olive Garden Chicken Pasta

Ingredients
- 1.5-2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 (16 oz) bottle Italian dressing
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese, divided
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 (8 oz) block cream cheese, cubed
- 16 oz penne pasta
Steps
- Place chicken breasts in the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Mix Italian dressing, 1/4 cup Parmesan, black pepper, and garlic in a bowl. Pour over the chicken.
- Sprinkle cream cheese cubes on top.
- Cover and cook on high for 4 hours or low for 6 hours, until chicken is tender.
- Cook penne according to package directions until al dente. Drain, reserving 1 cup pasta water.
- Shred the chicken in the slow cooker with two forks, mixing it into the sauce.
- Add the cooked penne to the slow cooker and stir to coat. Add reserved pasta water as needed to reach desired sauce consistency.
- Serve warm, topped with remaining Parmesan cheese.
